Meet Kringle
Are you looking for companionship? I am!! Hi, I’m KRINGLE, a true ‘people-cat.’ All I want is to be on you. Favorite spots have been my foster mom’s shoulder and my foster dad’s chest. They call me ‘quirky.’ Sometimes I’m like a frustrated toddler who doesn’t have the words for what I want. Love food, but I only like what I like when I like it. I eat like a dumpster diver, preferring bits of whatever you’re eating. I am quite the snuggler and like to ‘make biscuits’ and purr. I’ll follow you, hang out wherever you are, and sleep with you too. I do get under your feet, and I may put my paw on your pants leg when I pass by – so I might be a trip hazard. I’m not very playful, but I will briefly play with a shoelace or a wand toy. Much prefer head and chin pets and scratches. Would LOVE to have a cat tree!! You might notice my left pupil is larger. I had a broken tooth removed from the same side so the vet thinks I was hit by (or with) something. I’m fine. What I want most is companionship. Petting and cuddles! I want ALL your attention, so no pets please, especially dogs. I need a low-stress home. A calm, quiet one with no kids under 12, ever. Someone who is home a lot or works from home is my dream human! I don’t like to be alone.
Kringle is enjoying a Naperville foster home and you can meet him there! He is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. His adoption fee is $135.
If you are interested in meeting Kringle, fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
