Meet Mickle & Byrdie (bonded pair)

Hi! We're Mickle & Byrdie AND we're brothers!

Life can be really hard...especially when you're homeless. However, our troubles have not hendered us from two things:

Being kind. Loving on each other.

So many siblings end up divided during these types of journeys. We are so grateful that we still have each other & that our ARF Human will NOT split us up. After all...we've already lost everything else.

We are both very sweet, affectionate & kind. I, Byrdie, the younger brother, love to play with & groom my big brother, Mickle. He always allows me to bathe him & is SO good about obliging my spunky initiations. I need him. He cherishes me. We love each other.

We are seeking a calm & loving environment where we will be a priority, experience longevity & be allowed to love on each other & YOU. We LOVE human affection & attention! We love kisses & snuggling too!

No thank you to dogs. We're totally ok w/ other NICE kitties & older children who would respect us.

We simply just want to go home, share all of this love w/ the world & of course do so together!

Both cats are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  neutered, and litter box trained.

Their combined adoption fee is $270 ($135x2).  If you are interested in meeting Mickle & Byrdie, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

  • Pre-adoption medical exam
  • A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
