Meet Brent
Brent is a 1 year old male Chocolate Lab mix who weighs in at 50 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $450. If you are still interested, please read more below.
Brent is affectionately known as RANGER by his foster family for his curious and playful nature. We are not sure of his background other than he was brought up from a shelter in Tennessee and is a happy playful pup who is perfect for any family! He is housebroken and crate trained. He doesn't like to be separated from his people so he occasionally whines when crated but he does settle down quickly. He is smart and quick to learn commands, working on polite leash training and loves walks and being outside. AND THOSE EARS!!! Ranger (Brent) is the CUTEST pup with incredibly soft fur. He loves snuggles, is curious about all things and has no problem exploring or going on adventures with his family. He is good with kids! Car rides are no problem and he will curl up and enjoy the ride. Toys are his favorite and he will take each one out of the basket, keeping them close by, just in case he decides to change his mind. He has shown some minor guarding around other dogs in his foster home, especially with food and some toys, but nothing major. He plays well with the other dogs when all of the dogs are ready to play. He is easily motivated by food or preferred toys. He can run and explore with the best of them but when playtime is over, he has no problem relaxing, laying at your feet with his bone, or on the couch if you just can't resist those ears...
Brent is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and will be neutered prior to adoption. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
