Meet Charlie

Hi, it is so nice to meet you! I’d like to introduce myself…I’m Charlie and I’m looking for my forever home! The most important thing to know about me is that I adore kids! I used to live with two younger kids who would pick me up, snuggle with me, and carry me around with them. And I absolutely loved it. The attention was amazing and it taught me how to be a gentle soul. But even if you don’t have kids, I am also great with adults!

For food, I’m happy to eat anything you have. But as a special treat, I am sometimes given freeze dried fish, and I am obsessed with that! It was like a piece of candy to me.

In addition to people and food, I also love to chase toys and little balls around the house. I have some scratching posts that I use from time to time and you can usually find me curled up in a cat bed or on your couch/bed. I often look out the windows at home so no worries if you have to leave the house for work during the day – I am more than happy to entertain myself while you’re gone. When it’s sunny outside, you can often find me sunbathing (inside of course) and soaking up the rays. I am also a good snuggler and would be a good lap cat. I am a big fan of being brushed too – it’s like a mini massage.

Charlie is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Charlie’s adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Charlie, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
