Meet Ember

Ember is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  She absolutely loves people and can't wait to be the center of attention.  And she deserves it!  Ember raised three adorable babies and is now ready to leave the mom life behind and just be a cat.  She has a cute little meow and isn't afraid to use it. The second you walk in the door, prepare to be greeted.  She wants to hear all about your day.

Ember loves chin scratches and belly rubs.  She can't get enough.  She likes to spend her days on the window ledge in her room, watching the world go by. She loves naps in the sunshine and curling up with her babies for a snuggle.  She enjoys toys, especially wand toys and laser pointers.

Ember hasn't been around other cats or dogs, so we're not quite sure how she would do with them.  She is a pretty laid back girl, so given a proper, slow introduction, she would probably do just fine.  Ember is used to a loud, energetic environment, but would also do well in a calm, quiet home.  She doesn't care where she lives, she just wants to be loved.  She does great with gentle kids.  The more people around to love on her, the better!

  • Pre-adoption medical exam
  • A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
