Meet Sunflower Seed
Hi! My name is Sunflower Seed and I am as bright as the sunflowers you see in the summer! I may be a black kitty but I truly have a heart of gold. I also have the softest fur with a gorgeous sleekness. In terms of my hobbies, I love getting endless snuggles, nose kisses, ear scratches, and head rubs. I also love wet food and fun cat toys so you’ll be my best friend if you have any of those things! I play on my foster mom’s cat tree all the time and I also sometimes like to look out the window at all of the birds outside.
I have two siblings currently but I am not bonded to them so I’d be happy to go to a home alone, with my sibling(s), or to a home with another friendly feline! I have been around other cats my whole life but I haven’t been around dogs so I’m not sure how I feel about them. But I’m such a warm and loveable angel so I would probably be okay with a relaxed pup.
For my future forever home, I’m truly just looking for somewhere warm and loving to spend the rest of my life. Do I sound like the perfect cat? If so, please fill out an application or come visit me at the Countryside PetSmart! I’ll see you guys there.
Sunflower Seed is microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Sunflower Seed’s adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Sunflower Seed, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
