Meet Patience
Meet Patience – A True Queen in Every Sense
Patience is a stunning long-haired calico with a petite frame, a calm spirit, and a heart full of love. As the devoted mama to the Virtue Litter—Honor, Wisdom, Wonder, and Grace—her name couldn’t be more fitting. She has poured every ounce of her gentle nature into raising her babies, always ensuring they are safe, well-fed, and deeply loved.
Patience is the picture of maternal grace. She’s sweet, affectionate, and often seeks out gentle pets and scratches. She’ll hop into your lap or sit nearby for a bit of company—until mom duty calls, or she needs a few moments of peace and quiet (as all moms do). She’s never far, though, and if you call her name, she’ll come running with her soft, floofy tail and soulful eyes.
Despite her elegant demeanor, Patience has a mischievous streak—especially when it comes to pizza. Don’t let her dainty size fool you; this girl once nabbed an entire slice of Lou Malnati’s deep dish and made a break for it like a true Chicago legend.
While she may not always pose for the camera (busy moms rarely do), meet her in person and you’ll see—she radiates beauty inside and out. Once her sweet kittens are settled into their forever homes, Patience will be ready for her own chapter of rest, love, and well-earned pampering.
Give this incredible mama the peaceful, loving home she so deeply deserves. She’s ready to be someone’s cherished companion—not just a mom, but a star in her own right.
Patience is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered , and litter box trained.
Patience's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Patience, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
