Meet John

Hello everyone, John here hoping you’ll take a moment and read my bio. I am approximately eight months old. I really enjoy playing with toys toys involving rolling balls around a track seem to be one of my favorite however that does not mean I enjoy pretty much every toy that has been given to me. I did not take long to warm up after coming to ARF. But while I was warming up, I found security in my little hidey hole. I only needed it for about 48 hours and then I hardly ever used it anymore but occasionally I go back in just because it’s kind of a comfy place to hang out. I absolutely love getting pets and ear rubs if you rub one of my ears, I tilt my head and look quite content. I was fostered with a kitty named Jesse.  We are not bonded, but if you are looking for two cats, I am sure we would love to be together for the rest of our lives. I do get along with other cats and children. The two dogs I met. I was fine with however, I was not around them a lot. I do think if the dogs are kind to me, I will have no issue with them at all so if you’re looking for a playful guy who loves to be pet by his humans, then I can’t wait to meet you.

John  is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

John's adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting John , please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

  • Age-appropriate vaccines
  • Pre-adoption medical exam
  • A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
