Meet Sourdough and Baguette (Bonded Sisters)

Meet Sourdough and Baguette – Bonded Sisters with Big Hearts and Even Bigger Personalities

Sourdough and Baguette are a charming pair of bonded tabby sisters looking for their forever home—together, of course! These two are the best of friends, spending their days snuggled up in a cozy sunbeam or playfully chasing toys around the house. Their bond is undeniable, and watching them interact is sure to melt your heart.

Sourdough is the more outgoing of the two—curious, loyal, and a true companion. She loves to keep you company while you work, quietly supervising from a cozy perch nearby or offering gentle head bumps during breaks. She’s a dedicated sister who takes her role as Baguette’s protector seriously, and she draws comfort and confidence from having Baguette by her side. Because of her protective nature, Sourdough would do best in a home without an older resident female cat.

Baguette is the more laid-back sibling, with a sweet and easygoing demeanor. She’s content to lounge on a windowsill, watching birds flutter by, or curl up in a soft spot for an afternoon nap. Baguette is also quite the chatterbox and isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts—whether it’s about her dreams, her meals, or what she’s been watching outside.

With time, patience, and the right introductions, both girls do wonderfully with other animals—including dogs! In fact, they’ve been known to sneak off with the occasional dog toy and turn it into their own. They also enjoy playtime with stick toys, catnip, and the laser pointer, making for lots of fun and interactive moments with their future family.

Sourdough and Baguette are fully vetted—they are microchipped, spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and litter box trained. Their combined adoption fee is $270.

If you’re looking for a loving, entertaining, and deeply bonded duo to brighten your home, Sourdough and Baguette are ready to meet you. Fill out our Online Application today! Once your application is approved, an ARF volunteer will be in touch to set up a meet-and-greet with these sweet sisters

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
