Meet Journey

Journey came to ARF pregnant. She was super sweet from the second she moved into her

foster home. She easily developed a trusting relationship with her foster mom during the 3

weeks we waited for her to have her kittens. On April 17, she gave birth to five perfect babies

and dutifully cared for them even when they were big enough that they didn’t need her

anymore. She is a very patient, mellow girl, even now after the kittens have been adopted.

Journey is very happy to lay on your lap for a bit and then lay right next to you. She likes

making biscuits on your belly. It’s adorable. While she is a calm adult, she is also still playful.

She enjoyed wrestling with her kittens and playing with the same toys they would kick around

the foster room. Now that the kittens have all found their homes, Journey deserves one too.

She would probably do just fine as an only cat with attentive humans, but she could also

acclimate to a multi-cat home with a slow introduction.

To see more about her, check out her foster mom’s Instagram @gloriawarshaw.

Journey is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained.

Journey's adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting Journey, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
