Meet Sandy & Sampson (bonded pair)
Sandy (lynx point female) was found abandoned with Sampson in a vacant apartment. We have no idea how long they were there. They were very scared and skittish when they arrived at ARF. It took quite a while before they could be handled. Sandy is still scared of new people but she warms up when bribed with Churru treats! Sandy will head bump her foster mom for attention and likes to be brushed. She is bonded with Sampson and they need to be adopted together.
Sampson (mostly cream male with light flame point) is more skittish than Sandy, but when he sees Sandy getting petted or brushed he will nudge his way in for some attention too. They will do best in a quiet home. They have gotten along with most other cats in their room. Sandy and Sampson will need someone who is willing to give them the time they need to feel safe. It may take weeks or even a month, but if you are willing to give the time and love and attention they will reward you with love and devotion. They are going to be scared and will hide, so it would be best to start them off in a small room.
Sandy & Sampson are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.
Sandy & Sampson's combined adoption fee is $ 400 ($200 x 2). If you are interested in meeting Sandy & Sampson, please fill out our online adoption application today!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
