Meet Gracie Lynn

Hi, my name is Gracie Lynn but you can call me Gracie; actually you can call me anything but don't call me late for dinner! I lived outside a few months until my foster mom took me in out of the cold. I'm an inside kitty now and here is where I'm at.

I want to be near you but don't need your lap all the time. That makes me a good match if you're a busy person and don’t always have a lap to offer. Although I am good company and a good conversation is always welcome. Believe me, I can be chatty.

I talk good “cat” and I am smart. I had cat friends when I lived outside, and we got along just fine. I'm thinkin' if you're looking for a playmate for your young friendly cat, I'm your girl.

I'm low maintenance: I have perfect litterbox habits and just need 2 squares a day, and a few fun play sessions. I love to play especially with string toys. My favorite toy is literally a string on a stick.

My foster mom has 2 other cats that live with us. I want to be friends with them, but I don’t think they want to be friends with me. I show no aggression toward either one of them but run away from them a lot!

I'm iridescent - I'm a black kitty, but when I'm in the sun, my stripes show! Actually, I'm quite beautiful. My photos definitely do not do me justice!

I am on the shy side, so a quiet home would best suit me.  I would love to have a family to call my own to grow with and live happily ever after. Take a chance on me, ok?

Gracie Lynn is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and litter box trained. Gracie Lynn's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Gracie Lynn, please fill out our Online Application today!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
