Meet Ivy

Looking for a laid-back companion who’s mastered the art of relaxation? Meet Ivy, a handsome, mellow gentleman with a heart of gold and a purr that could calm any storm.

Ivy is a pretty chill guy. He loves sunny windowsills, slow blinks, and long naps in cozy corners or in warm laps. He’s perfectly content lounging by your side during movie nights or keeping you company while you work from home. He loves getting lots of pets and chin scratches. Low-maintenance and full of love, Ivy is the kind of cat who just gets you — no drama, no fuss, just good vibes.

Speaking of no drama, Ivy would really do best in a low-key environment.  He thinks the crazy, busy lifestyle is overrated and would rather be in a home that projects the calm, just like him.  He has lived in a home with another cat, so he wouldn't mind another friendly kitty to hang out with, but he would also do fine as an only cat.  Ivy prefers older kids that can treat him gently and not squash his chill vibes.

Ivy is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Ivy's adoption fee is $165. If you are interested in meeting Mirage, please fill out our online adoption application today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
