Meet Alani & Jeremy (bonded pair)

Alani & Jeremy are a bonded pair that were brought together in the most roundabout way.  Alani came to our house first and is the biggest love bug you will ever encounter. Later, we were asked to take Jeremy as he was shy and seemed to be having some anxiety in his transition to a foster home. Both of them were brought to our home with the hopes that they would pair with a completely different kitten. However, these two approached each other as if they were old friends. In the last 3 years that I’ve fostered, I have never seen two kittens that had not previously met bond SO quickly. It was absolutely incredible.

Jeremy & Alani are the epitome of opposites attract. Alani will approach anyone for love and is not shy at all while Jeremy is coming out of his shell but can take some time to warm up. Both boys are extremely loving in their own ways. Alani would like to be on your lap (or shoulder) 24/7. He is a great lap warmer if you work from home and has been learning to not step on my keyboard. Jeremy loves to be on the top shelf of the cat tower and will purr like crazy if you go up and pet him. He will also walk up for pets and meow at you if you don’t notice him. He’s got the cutest little mew.

These boys would love to go to a home together that has plenty of beds and cat towers for them to explore and snuggle on. They are okay with our dogs and get along well with other cats.

Both cats are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

Their adoption fee is $330 ($165x2). If you are interested in meeting them , please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
