Meet Mrs. Beasley

Mrs. Beasley is a 4-6 year old female Hava-Chon who weighs approximately 25 pounds. She is enjoying life outside of the puppy mill where she spent her earlier years as a breeding momma.  When you talk to her, she will wag wag and still wag again.  She is happy, she is silly and she is bouncy. And She loves to play with other dogs.  She still needs to learn to fully trust her humans and is improving on a daily basis.  She is at her most affectionate when she cuddles with you in bed at night.  She will let you pet and love her more in bed than any where else.  She is gentle with other dogs as well as with her foster cats.

Mrs. Beasley is very healthy but does have a dry left eye and needs to have a drop in her eye twice a day.  She is fortunately an easy, tolerant dog who doesn’t resist regular eye drops.

Her ideal home will have human family members who are willing to be patient and loving as she learns to trust you, would have another dog to play with, and a yard to enjoy the sun in.  She has made huge progress in the time she has been with ARF.  It is so gratifying to know where she has been and where she is now.

Mrs. Beasley is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed.  Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.

Mrs. Beasley's adoption fee is $375.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Mrs. Beasley fill out an Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
