Meet Cutie Pie

Cutie Pie, and her sister Furgie, are almost 9 year old female Labradoodles who find themselves looking for a new home.  Of the two, Furgie has more grey on her muzzle.  Their current owner feels their new alone time of 10 hours a day is not fair to them.  They have a crate available to them as a place of safety, but do not use it often.  They are housetrained.  These girls have been together since birth, and would absolutely love to stay together, but would most likely do ok if adopted individually as well.  They do well with other dogs and at least one cat, and do well with other animals, unless they look like dinner.  These girls are good with youth, however, with respect to their age, ARF requests children 8 and older.

They may not be winning any awards for playing fetch or running obstacles, but they will definitely win over your heart with their mad snuggling skills. If you like dogs who like to be with humans, these are your girls.  They love to go on walks, and they play well with other dogs in the dog park, but what they love best is to be with humans. Because of some joint issues, they sometimes show they are in some discomfort, but flares ups are rare. If you like snuggling, long walks, and have a little patience, they will be your perfect companions. They can be a little protective when they see other people or animals come near the house, but if they see that you are ok with them, then they are ok with them too. They love afternoon naps and a regular bedtime usually around 9:30pm. They like their sleep! If they get their beauty sleep, they feel young again. They can’t wait to meet you!

This girl is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and spayed.  Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.

Her adoption fee is $400.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Furgie and/or Cutie Pie fill out an Online Application today!  Preference will be given to approved adopters interested in adopting both girls.

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
