I am a laidback sweetheart. I'm KEVIN. I adore humans and start purring the instant they pet me or pick me up. I love my brother KARL, but I sometimes seek out a quiet corner to nap in, away from my enthusiastic sibling. Still, we are a Bonded Pair, which means we must be adopted together. In a home, our energy levels will be a little different, and he will have other things to play with besides me. We have really been enjoying ourselves together here at the store! Curious and playful, I enjoy wand toys and toy mice. We are both really smart and you can see on our faces when our brains are figuring out how to do something new. I LOVE my foster family. A well-behaved, gentle kid 8+ is okay. I would love to have a family!
Hey I'm KARL. I am going to need things to do. I am energetic and active, and my foster mom says I am ultra smart which means I am easily bored. Let's start with a tall cat tree -- and my brother KEVIN? We are a Bonded Pair, which means we must be adopted together. I am the kind of kitty who can easily learn tricks. I am sweet as can be, love being petted and held, enjoy other fun active kitties, and I purrrrrr the moment I see a human. I am sort of goofy too, like a teenager trying to figure out my big feet and lanky body. I am always trying to get outside, so I need a stimulating indoor environment to keep me happy indoors! No little kids please. I will run out the door as soon as they open it. If you have the kind of home I need, take me home and let us entertain each other! Kevin and Karl can be seen at the Cat Center inside Pets Supplies Plus at 720 E Ogden, Naperville.
Kevin and Karl are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

All pets adopted from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation include the following as part of their adoption fee:
- Spay/neuter or a certificate for a low-cost spay/neuter when medically recommended
- Microchip and registration, a permanent identification to reunite lost pets with their owners
- Initial de-worming and flea and tick treatment
- Age-appropriate testing for heartworm/FIV-FELV
- Age-appropriate vaccines
- Pre-adoption medical exam
- A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption
- Offer for a no-risk 30 day free trial with Trupanion pet medical insurance
If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
