Meet Pumpkin & Pie (bonded pair)
Pie and her bonded brother pumpkin have grown up together. She is an absolute sweetheart. She is extremely loveable and will crawl in your lap for attention. But be careful! She loves hair and is not shy about climbing on your shoulders to snuggle into your head. She also loves the smell of armpits (even freshly washed!) and will go crazy rubbing her head into you. Her pictures don’t do her justice. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautiful coat, soulful eyes, and a sparkling personality.
She is very playful and will play with practically anything! Toy mice, wands, laser pointers- she adores them all! She is great with other cats and would do well with almost anyone! She has met dogs before and is a bit scared at first, but she will warm given a little time. She is also perfect with kids! She is not even shy with the toddler and baby in her foster home!
Pumpkin is like a tiny little tornado. Full of energy, he blows into a room, causes a bunch of activity, and blows out in a flash. His energy level is unmatched. He is completely fearless. He runs and runs and jumps… then takes a break and does it all over again. Pumpkin is one of the smartest cats around. He watches how you open a door, then you turn your back, and the door is open again! Levered doorknobs are no match for him, and neither are cabinets. He even opened the vent cover in one room, crawled through ductwork, and popped out in another room! Pumpkin does all of this because he constantly looking for a challenge. He needs someone to play with him on a regular basis.
As long as he can expend some energy, he would be great in any household. He’s wonderful with other cats, absolutely loves dogs and will snuggle them fearlessly, and is a great playmate for the toddler he lives with at his foster home. He gets along with absolutely everyone and has a wonderful disposition. He's 100% kindness and love and is extremely affectionate when he’s not running around learning how to solve his next puzzle.
Both cats are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered , and litter box trained.
Their adoption fee is $270 ($135x2). If you are interested in meeting Pumpkin & Pie, please fill out our online application today!
Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
