Meet Gazelle

Meet Gazelle, and just wait until you hear her amazing story! Gazelle was found with her litter of 5 babies. As soon as they were old enough to eat on their own at 5 weeks old, her babies were taken from her. As sad as that sounds, Gazelle had a MUCH bigger purpose. A litter of TEN 2 week old kittens had been found without a momma and needed help. All TEN were given to Gazelle, and this amazing momma took all of them in. She fed them and kept them clean, just as if they were her very own. In case you weren’t keeping track, that’s 15 babies in just 7 weeks!! WOW!! Now her babies are grown, and she’s ready to find a loving family of her own, and if any kitty deserves it, she does!

Gazelle is a beautiful girl, but she’s a little on the shy side. She needs someone patient to give her time and space to adapt to her new surroundings. She really enjoys being petted and will rub up against you for attention (see her video), but only when she feels comfortable. She always comes out to meet her foster mom when she comes in to feed her and her babies, but when visitors come over, she likes to hide until she feels safe. She would love a nice quiet home where she can relax and feel at ease. She would prefer a home with no young children, but would do great with older children.

Gazelle is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Gazelle's adoption fee is $95. If you are interested in meeting Gazelle, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
