Meet Bluey (adopted with Mookie)

Hi! We are Bluey and Mookie! We are a bonded m/f sibling pair and a packaged deal. When we arrived on transport, they were not sure we would make it through the night. We weighed less than a pound each and were malnourished and extremely dehydrated. What they didn’t know is that we are brave little fighters. Mookie spent a few days in the hospital until she was willing to eat but when she came back, it was PLAYTIME. We now spend our days playing with the small humans in the house. Mookie loves a good game of “fire station” and Bluey loves the theater and is a total foodie. If you are looking for the kind of kitties that hide and run away- we are NOT your kitties. We love humans, cats and dogs. When the dogs in our foster home bark, we just give them a silly look and continue on with our fun. We do a lot of snuggling together and we like to sneak up on the dogs when they are sleeping and play with their tails or curl up for a cuddle. Our foster family said that if they hadn’t already foster failed so many times, that they would adopt us- that’s how cute we are… and there is a lot of cuteness in this house.  So who’s who you ask? We are practically identical with a few distinguishing features. Mookie is a petit little ballerina and Bluey has been bulking up in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics. Bluey has a small white freckle on his nose and Mookie currently has some short curly eyebrow whiskers after a too close encounter with a candle. A quote from our foster mom: “ Mookie and Bluey are the sweetest and most silly kittens we have ever had. They would be the perfect addition to any family.”

Bluey and Mookie are siblings who are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.

Bluey and Mookie's combined adoption fee is $300.00 .  If you are interested in meeting Bluey and Mookie, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
