Meet Clementine and Tamarind

Check out these beauties! Clementine is a 4 month old orange tabby, and Tamarind is a 2 year old buff tabby. They came to ARF as mother and daughter, along with 3 other siblings, only to find out that Tamarind had not recently given birth, so they aren't really related. Despite that, Tamarind took in these 4 babies and mothered them as much as she could. She did such an amazing job!

So really, Tamarind and Clementine are more like big sister, litter sister. While Tamarind continues to mother Clementine, grooming her and watching over her, she plays like a kitten herself. They both love chasing balls and playing with wand toys...really any toy will do. These girls love spending their days looking out their window and watching the wildlife. They are both super snugglers and LOVE to be held. Clementine will climb up and put one paw on each shoulder while nuzzling in your neck, just like a hug. Tamarind will cross her little paws while she rides around in your arms. They enjoy sleeping with their teenage foster brother and are such amazing companions. They are very used to noise and activity, so they would both do great in a home with kids.

Clementine and Tamarind are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Clementine and Tamarind's combined adoption fee is $245.  If you are interested in meeting Clementine and Tamarind, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
