Meet Alola

My name is Alola and I’m the sweetest little puffball you’ll ever meet.

Not only do I know my name, I’ve also learned the names of all of my foster siblings. I know I’m a baby and a kitty, too! I love people and play, and I’m very curious. Once I’ve settled into my new turf, I’ll show off my hunting skills. While you sleep, I’ll hunt toys for you and leave them outside your bedroom door. You may get to see me chirping joyfully when I’ve caught a particularly fun toy, and if you’re lucky I might even let you play fetch with me. I’ve been accused of drowning toys in the food bowl, but the evidence is circumstantial.

I need an adopter who is attentive and is home most of the time. I’ve been treated for a sickness called FIP, but because I’ve been very good about my meds, I’m almost better! Even though I’ll be done with treatment, I will need someone to keep an eye on me for a little while in case I need to start medication again. Because of my illness I’m a little clumsy, so I’ll need your help to get on the bed for my mandatory snuggles.

I have a lot of love to share, so I’d like to live with other cats. I generally play well with others, and I often groom or snuggle with my foster siblings. I don’t think I would like to live with a dog. I like to cuddle and wrestle, so I would need to live with older or respectful kids who understand my boundaries.

If you’re looking for a goofy little cuddlebug, please submit an application today!

Alola is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  spayed, and litter box trained.

Alola's adoption fee is $ 135.  If you are interested in meeting Alola, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
