A.R.F. Receives Mutts Across America Grant

The Animal Rescue Foundation has been chosen as Illinois’ 2022 Mutts Across America grant recipient, provided by Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company. The generous support will go toward medical care for homeless dogs.

Only one shelter or foster-based rescue is chosen per state, and organizations are selected based on a variety of criteria, including a high adoption rate, high volunteerism, fiscal responsibility, and community presence.

According to MuttNation Foundation’s website, “Miranda’s love for animals has always been an important part of who she is. While volunteering at local shelters, she adopted her first pup Delilah as a companion when she started touring. To help shine the spotlight on rescue animals and shelters, Miranda and her mom Bev Lambert founded MuttNation Foundation in 2009 to ensure that as many dogs as possible would have a safe and happy place to call home.”

Thanks to this grant, more dogs will be able to find their forever homes. Thank you to Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company for helping A.R.F. continue to save lives.
