Long Time ARF Residents Need Homes!
Roxanne& Tinkerbell
Meet Roxanne (left) and Tinkerbell (right), the two biggest
cuddle bugs/lap dogs you’ll ever meet! Roxanne is Tinkerbell’s momma. She’s approx four years old and for the most part quiet and laid back. She loves her walks, isn’t sure about the house cats, but gets along great with her foster brother and sister dogs. She sleeps well in her cage at night and enjoys chewing on her toys and bones during the day. She is an overall great companion and would do best with older kids. Both girls have made the transition from outdoor dog to inside family pet incredibly well and have not had one accident! They truly love attention and love and will cuddle endlessly. They both are ‘free’ eaters - just fill their bowl twice a day - they will eat when they are hungry. Complete our Adoption Application to get to meet these great dogs!
DollyDolly has been around too long, she's been passed by because of all the cute puppies we've had in rescue. Let's get her a permanent home.
She is a sweet 2-3 year old, puggle--looks more pug than beagle. She was dropped off at animal control along with her one 8 week old puppy by her family saying they didn't have time for either of them anymore (really?!). She is very happy to be in a loving home--likely for the first time in her life. She is learning to be housebroken very quickly but it was very apparent that she had never been in a home long enough for anyone to bother training her. She might have been an outside dog before coming to us though with her small size, it is hard to imagine that being the case. Very affectionate, happy to lucky, snuggly, and fairly low energy--she loves her naps on the sofa. Her pup has been adopted and now it is time to find Dolly her forever home. Good with other dogs, cats, kids. Complete our Adoption Application to get the process started!
Chief
Chief is a gorgeous and very smart Black Lab boy. He loves attention. If you're moving he's moving, if you're sitting he's sleeping by your feet. He's great with kids and definitely favors his 3 year old foster human. He does not beg and at meal time you'll find him sleeping under the table. He loves his walks and is very good on a leash. He knows some commands like sit, lay down, heal (he responds better to easy) and is very gentle taking treats from your hands. Chief is micro-chipped, neutered, crate trained, housebroken, and up to date on vaccinations. His new family will be required to complete the basic obedience course of their choice with him. She will go thru spurts of playing with her bones and then relaxing. She is a great companion for anyone. She is about 3 yrs old and about 33 lbs. She is microchipped, spayed, Click here to see a video of sweet Cyndi! Complete our Adoption Application to get the process started!
