Meet Michelle

Michelle is a 6 year old female Frenchie who weighs in at 20 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $400. If you are still interested, please read more below.

Meet Your New Sweetheart

This sweet lady is a gentle soul who may be a little shy at first, but give her some patience and a little time, and you’ll see her personality blossom. She’s the kind of girl who quietly follows her favorite person around, happy just to be near you.

She does best with soft, calm affection and would love a cozy space of her own where she can retreat and feel safe. She doesn’t need long to open up when she knows she’s in a patient, loving home. Once she does, you’ll have a devoted little companion by your side.

She’s potty trained as long as she gets regular potty breaks, and she walks very nicely on leash. She enjoys short walks and exploring at her own pace. Loud, fast-moving cars can still make her nervous, so she’ll appreciate a little reassurance and understanding while she continues building confidence.

She is wonderfully friendly with children, as well as both dogs and cats, making her a great fit for a home with furry siblings.

Michelle has been treated for heartworm and will have no lasting negative health effects.

If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will happily follow you from room to room and become your little shadow, this girl is your gal. Give her the patience to come out of her shell, and she’ll reward you with a whole lot of love.

Michelle is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

  • Initial de-worming and flea and tick treatment

  • Age-appropriate vaccines
  • Pre-adoption medical exam
  • A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
