Meet Casandra
Sometimes, life changes in ways we never expect. Through no fault of her own, Casandra, lovingly known as Casia, was surrendered to our rescue. Leaving behind the only home she's ever known has been a big adjustment, but every day she's showing us just how resilient and loving she truly is.
Casia is currently with a wonderful foster who is helping build her confidence and reminding her that she's safe, loved, and never alone. She may be shy when you first meet her, but give her a little patience and you'll discover an incredibly affectionate girl who simply wants to be loved. Once she trusts you, she'll happily lean into your pets and enjoy being close to her people.
One of Casia's most beautiful features is her bright, expressive eyes. They have a way of telling you exactly how she's feeling. And with her darker coat and adorably chonky figure, her foster jokes that sometimes those bright eyes are the easiest part to spot when she's tucked away in her favourite cozy hiding place!
Although Casia had never been exposed to other cats before coming into foster care, she's been adjusting beautifully and has been nothing but loving. Watching her grow more confident each day has been incredibly rewarding, and we know she'll continue to blossom in a patient, understanding forever home
Casia doesn't need a perfect family. She simply needs someone willing to give her the time to settle in and the chance to love at her own pace. In return, she'll give you something truly special—a bond built on trust, patience, and unconditional love.
Casandra is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.
Casandra's adoption fee is $135 . If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
