Meet Judy Garland

Somewhere over the rainbow is where you'll find a cat as cuddly and as affectionate as Judy Garland. She is a uniquely colored dilute calico with bright, beautiful eyes that stare up at you as she cuddles up like a baby in your arms. She loves to be held and snuggles up for as long as you'll hold her. She is only around 9 months old and still very playful. Judy would do best with older children only because she plays with people as if they are other kittens sometimes - due to the fact that I think she has spent most of her time as an only cat. She just needs someone that understands how to operate a wand toy and throw her mousies when she is feeling playful. She would be fine with another friendly cat with a proper slow and respectful introduction. She would also be fine as an only cat in a home with an adult that has lots of time to devote to cuddles and playtime. She is a talkative girl and loves all people!  If you are ready to add this special girl to your family - fill out an application today. Judy is clicking her pink toe beans together and meowing "there's no place like home."

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
