Meet Frankenberry

Frankenberry had it tough in his younger life.  He was found abandoned alongside the road, half starved. So weak he could hardly stand up and had lost a lot of hair.  But with loving care, he is a completley different cat now with a beautiful silky coat.  Frankenberry got his name because one person said he looked like a dried up blackberry, and one said he looked scary like Frankenstein.  He gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. Because he winds himself around your legs freqeuntly, anyone unsteady on their feet may find it difficult to maneuver with Frankenberry around. He is such an affectionate cat.  He loves to talk.  Loves to sleep on your lap, purrs when you pet him, and is just an all around wonderful companion and great addition to any family.  He is a high energy cat (code for he is full of piss and vinegar) and plays hard so be ready to help him play out his energy or have another high energy cat companion for him.  If you are looking to adopt two cats, consider his fellow foster, Mr. Purrbody who is equally an AWESOME cat.

Frankenberry is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

neutered,

and litter box trained.

Frankenberry’

s adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting Frankenberry , please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
