Meet Lenux & Carl (bonded pair)

Lenux & Carl — A Bonded Pair Looking for a Gentle New Beginning

Lenux and Carl are two sweet senior boys who recently arrived at A.R.F. after their beloved owner was sent to hospice. Their lives changed overnight, and while they’re safe now, they’re still adjusting to all the new sights and sounds around them. Because they’re so shy, we’re still getting to know them — but what’s already clear is how deeply they love and rely on one another.

Lenux is an 11-year-old gray tabby with a tender, cautious heart. He takes comfort in staying close to Carl, his best friend and source of confidence. Ten-year-old Carl, a handsome orange tabby, is the braver of the two and is currently on a veterinarian-guided weight-loss plan after weighing in at just over 14 pounds. Together, they make a gentle, devoted pair who have weathered a lot of change side by side.

These boys deserve a peaceful home where their bond can stay intact and where they can finally relax again. If you have room in your heart and home, please consider welcoming Lenux and Carl — two loving souls ready for a second chance.

Both cats are

micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

neutered

, and litter box trained.

Their combined

adoption fee is $200 ($100 each).  If you are interested in meeting

Lenux & Carl,

please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

  • Age-appropriate vaccines
  • Pre-adoption medical exam
  • A certificate for a free healthy pet exam at one of A.R.F.’s participating veterinarians within 7 days of adoption

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
