Meet Gizmo
Gizmo is a 6-year-old full‑bodied sweetheart with the softest fur, the biggest heart, and a deep love for cozy companionship. She recently lost her beloved owner and is now bravely (and hopefully) searching for a new forever home where she can feel safe, adored and right where she belongs again.
This affectionate gal lives for snuggles, gives gentle kisses, and has a strong interest in sampling your snackies—strictly to make sure they’re acceptable, of course. When playtime strikes, Gizmo enjoys chasing wand toys, showing off just enough zoom to remind you she’s still got it.
Gizmo would love to be your one and only cat, soaking up all the attention, and requests a window with a view so she can continue her favorite pastime: watching and quietly judging the world outside.
She’s sweet, loyal, and ready to bond deeply with her next person. Gizmo has so much love left to give—she’s just waiting for someone to give her a second chance at forever.
Affectionate, funny and full of personality, Gizmo is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who wants snuggles, kisses and a front-row seat to the outside world, Gizmo is ready to move in and supervise your life.
Gizmo is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.
Her adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Gizmo, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
