Meet Genevieve and Jade (bonded pair)

GENEVIEVE and JADE were found together on the streets of rural southern Illinois, and they were brought to a high-kill shelter. Then, their foster parents found them through ARF, tagged them for rescue, and took them home!

GENEVIEVE is a beautiful brown tabby girl with a white-tipped tail. She loves to climb into her people's laps and will occasionally give kisses. She will chase her favorite jingly ball toy all over the house!

JADE is a stunning BLACK SMOKE girl. Her fur is black on the ends and white at the roots; this is a beautiful coat color that is more common in purebred cats and is rarely seen in rescue. She has the softest fur and loves to be petted.

Both of them are very playful and super cuddly. They love chasing laser pointers, batting wand toys, and curling up with you for a nap once they are done playing. They both enjoy nibbling people's fingers. They are usually together, and sometimes you might catch them grooming each other or wrestling!

Genevieve and Jade

are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

spayed

, and litter box trained.

Genevieve and Jade

's total adoption fee is $270 ($135 each).  Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
