Meet Hera (on Athena’s profile)
Hello! My name is Hera. I am a retired mama cat. My foster mom took me and my babies in when my babies were only 2 days old. I would love to be adopted with one of them (Ares, Aphrodite or Athena) but it’s not a deal breaker. I am such an awesome mama that I adopted 3 orphan kitties whose mama was killed in a car accident after I lost 2 babies. My foster home consists of 2 big dogs, another cat and my kittens. If you already have pets, please introduce me slowly and properly to other animals in the home. I would be fine as an only pet too! I am very low maintenance. My best trait, and my foster mom’s favorite thing about me, is that I LOVE to give nose boops!! I will sniff your face and boop your nose with mine and it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen! I even did it to the vet!! I am looking forward to meeting my new furever family soon!!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
