Meet Fire

Meet Fire, a vibrant and playful 6-year-old orange domestic short hair female cat. This adorable feline had a loving forever home until unfortunate circumstances shook her world. Her devoted owner fell ill and became unable to continue caring for Fire and her mom and brother.

Despite the uncertainty she faced, Fire's resilient spirit shines through. With her stunning orange fur and piercing amber eyes, Fire captures the hearts of all those who meet her. But it's her charming personality that truly sets her apart.

Fire is an independent and adventurous cat, always ready for a new exploration. She loves to chase after toys, pounce on elusive feathery objects, and climb to great heights to observe her surroundings. However, Fire's playful antics are balanced with a gentle and affectionate side. She craves human companionship and adores curling up on laps for cuddle sessions.

Being separated from her family was undoubtedly a challenging experience for Fire. But she remains resilient and optimistic, eagerly awaiting the day when she can once again create everlasting bonds with a forever family. Fire is highly adaptable, possessing a remarkable ability to adjust to new surroundings and routines.

Now, Fire is seeking a new loving home where she can bring joy and companionship to her adoptive family. Her ideal forever home would be one filled with love, patience, and understanding. Since she has previously lived with her mom and brother, it is likely that she will adjust well to another feline companion or even a calm and respectful dog.

Fire has so much love to give, and she deserves a second chance at happiness. If you are looking for an affectionate and spirited feline companion, Fire is the perfect match for you. Open your heart and home to this brave little cat, and you will forever be rewarded with undying loyalty.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
