Meet Mikasa

Mikasa says “hello!” She’s a beautiful girl who loves people. Mikasa enjoys rubbing on her foster’s legs and to be picked up so she can purr loudly. This girl is very outgoing and loves running to her foster when the door opens.

Mikasa has very soft, puffy fur and loves to be brushed. Some people say she looks like an owl or Katie from Horton Hears a Who. There is a white patch on Mikasa’s chest, and she might have the cutest paws of all time! She takes great pride in her grooming and always uses her litter box too.

Mikasa loves to play with string toys or anything involving catnip. Mikasa’s cute little ears are a product of previous neglect, but they are fully healed and do not bother her. Mikasa has big, beautiful eyes and loves to talk when treats are involved. She will go absolutely nuts for her Temptations treats or fresh chicken.

Mikasa is a a fantastic companion, and just loves hanging out on laps while you watch movies on the couch. She’s not a huge fan of other cats, and would likely thrive as the sole queen in her castle. Please consider rescuing this sweet little girl. You will not regret it.

Mikasa is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Mikasa's adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting Mikasa, please fill out our  Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
