Meet Bat
Meet Bat! Getting his name from the two cute fangs peeking out of his little mouth, Bat is the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet! Unfortunately abandoned by his previous owners, Bat has had a rough life, but that hasn’t stopped him from cuddling and purring with his new foster parents all day and all night. Bat is a very chill kitty, and his favorite activity is finding comfy places to relax or nap, and cuddling up close to his fosters to watch TV. He makes a great bedtime buddy and will get cozy with you for a snooze in your bed. Bat is a chatty boy and will tell you exactly what’s on his mind, whether he’s greeting you at the door, asking for pets, or begging for snacks. Bat doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and seems friendly with just about everyone he meets. We’ve never seen him around dogs or children but if you have other cats, Bat can very easily be acquainted with them as long as you give them ample supervised time to get to know each other. But he’s just as happy spending quality one-on-one time with his human! If you’re looking for a gentle, talkative kitty to provide a safe and loving home for, then Bat may be the kitty for you!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
