Meet George
Are you looking for a work-from-home buddy or a quiet companion? Then I'm the cat for you! Hi, my name is George. I am quiet, calm, laid back, un-demanding, affectionate, cuddly, and playful, but can also be independent if you are busy working. I won't interrupt your Zoom meeting or conference calls with chatty, catty comments. My foster mom has only heard me very quietly meow in the carrier on the way to the vet. No shame in that, what cat wouldn't meow in that situation! I might look a little rough with my ear-tipped ear, but I make up for it with my great personalitly. I love to snuggle up against you or sit in your lap or just hang out in the same room with you. My foster mom says I'm very polite, people and cat friendly, and have great litter box manners. She appreciates that I let her sleep in on weekends and don't pester her to feed me early in the morning. I love to play with the other kittens in my foster home. We wrestle, play taser tag, and chase wand toys. Don't let my quiet nature fool you, I can be just as silly and playful as any kitten out there. Won't you schedule a time to meet me so I can show you what a wonderful cat I am?
George has a sensitive stomach and is on Hill's Science Diet Z/D prescription cat food that he loves and will need to eat for life. This food is easy to obtain.
George is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.
George's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting George, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
