Meet Raven & Asher (bonded pair)

**Important Intro**

Raven and Asher's perfect family will understand that they are going to be skittish and a little shy until they decompress and get to know their new people. They won't want to be approached or picked up, and may not approach you for a few days, but will come to you for lap snuggles, playtime, and to beg for food when they adjust to you. Food and Churu treats will help win their hearts. They may hide a lot at first. Patience, kindness, and a willingness to let them develop a relationship with you on their terms, even if it takes weeks, will be the key to making a good match with them. If you want kitties that are immediate extroverts, these two are not for you. If you are willing to wait to be rewarded with their love, please continue reading.

Raven and Asher are bonded sisters who love each other very much. They cuddle together, play together, eat together, and use the litter box together. Their bond is extremely cute. These two are very playful and love all types of toys. They love interacting with their foster mom and plopping on her lap when they are tired from playing. Asher loves belly rubs. Raven does not love being picked up, but she is not shy about asking for attention. Asher has a beautiful gray coat with light gray tick marks on the tips. Raven is almost completely panther other than a little white patch on her chest. Both girls are very good eaters, of both wet and dry food. They are not picky. They absolutely adore Churu treats. They are very sweet, happy girls who have always been together and plan to stay that way. If you want to see more of them, they are regularly featured on their mom’s Instagram page, @gloriawarshaw.

Both cats are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Their combined adoption fee is $270 ($135x2). If you are interested in meeting  Raven & Asher, please fill out our online application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
