Meet Malibu & Ken (bonded pair)

Malibu is searching for her dream house! Malibu has blossomed so much from a shy sweetheart to a lovable cuddle bug. She is the first one to jump on her foster mom's lap every time and to ask for pets. She loves toys, treats, and warm blankets. Her favorite toy is a lazer pointer. She could chase that little red dot for hours! Malibu is also fond of watching tv and especially likes "kitty channels" with birds or fish. Fast hands and loud noises do tend to make her pretty nervous but when she has a confident friend to show her the way, she is much more settled.

Her best friend in the whole world is her brother Ken. Ken is a snuggle bug as well but with some added sass. He loves to greet his foster mom at the door and talk all about his day. He is brave about climbing high shelves and loves big cat trees. The two of them love to chase each other all around the house and cuddle up to watch the birds. He is certainly ken-ough!

Both kittens would be comfortable in a home with other furry friends but would prefer to be with older children only.

Both cats are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained. Their combined adoption fee is $270 ($135x2). If you are interested in meeting them, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today! Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
