Meet Sushi

Meet Sushi, an exceptionally gorgeous medium-hair black beauty. Sushi is so much more than her looks, she is smart, playful, sociable and a great companion. Although Sushi is in an adult cat body, she is still very much a kitten. She needs a home that loves to play and will supply her with a lot of kitty toys. Similar to kittens, she needs a companion. She tries to play with my old man cat and cries if she is alone for too long. She is learning manners and needs to be reminded that she can't use her mouth when she plays with us. Her bites are gentle, she does not use her claws, and quickly stops when redirected, but because this kitten behavior can be scary for small children, I recommend she goes to a home with older kids. If you have a younger cat that is lonely and needs a friend, Sushi is a perfect choice. If you are looking for a confident feline companion who loves to play, cuddle, will make you laugh and bring you years of joy, then please fill out an application for Sushi today. She is outgoing with people and good with cats. She has not met any dogs, but with her confident easy going personality, I believe she would do well.

Sushi is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Sushi's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Sushi, please fill out our Online Application today!

>Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
