Meet Bugsy

Bugsy & Roo are two of the best kittens around. These kittens have it all - they are cuddly, playful, dog-friendly, and love their humans. In fact, the only thing that they are missing is YOU! Does your heart have room for Bugsy & Roo?

Bugsy is a fluffy little guy who adores three things: cuddles, his brush, and the drawstring on his foster mom's red sweatshirt. Once you are his person, Bugsy will come running up to you for cuddles and start purring like a motor the moment you touch him. He even flops over for belly rubs! If you add his favorite brush in for cuddle time, you will have a friend for life. When his foster mom taps his brush on the floor and says “wanna get brushed?”, Bugsy runs up purring and starts brushing himself by rubbing all over it! He is just a happy go lucky kitten and will make the perfect companion to a loving family.

Roo is a short-haired gray kitten who is up for any adventure. She just wants to be near whatever is going on! Roo will climb up on your shoulder so that she can hug your head if she thinks you're too distracted on your phone, or she will plop down on the floor in front of you to ask for a belly rub. Roo loves to play and will chase a feather wand until she is panting and cannot jump anymore. She is so outgoing and wants nothing more than to be your best friend.

Both Bugsy & Roo are dog friendly! Their foster home has an 85-pound golden retriever, and both run up to him when they get the chance. Bugsy even loves to play with the dog's tail.

Bugsy & Roo can go to a home with kids or dogs, but not other cats. If you're interested in Bugsy & Roo, apply today!

Bugsy and Roo are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.

Bugsy and Roo's combined adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting Bugsy and Roo, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
