Meet Carla (adopted with Zsa Zsa)

Hi!  My name is Zsa Zsa.  I’m a black long haired gorgeous girl who gives TONS of love.  My sister Carla and I would love to be adopted together since we’ve spent our entire lives bonded- and we are about seven years old.  My last owner says we love and fight like sisters.  My sister is an orange tabby, which is pretty uncommon for a female- I know she is extra special.  I kiss her when she’s feeling scared and I’m there for her all the time.

I’m most definitely outgoing.  I’ve never met anyone who I didn’t immediately want to make friends with- and that includes kids, other cats, and dogs.  I love to give hugs, which is the cutest thing ever!  And I love to snuggle.  When I’m snuggling a ton, I drool!  I am super friendly and love to greet strangers.  There is no one I don’t like.  My sister Carla is super sweet too.  My foster mom says she’s still grieving the loss of her former home and is a bit scared to open up.  But I see her curl up onto my foster mom’s lap and purr like crazy!  She hasn’t quite shown her wild and crazy side yet.  My foster mom brings her out of her shell with some can food.  We both go nuts for it!

My foster mom tells me we were well taken care of in our last home, and only given up because of unfortunate circumstances.  We are very healthy, happy, well fed, and fully vetted.

I met a toddler at my foster home and loved her a ton!  We snuggled and kissed.  I also met some other cats who didn’t like me- but I just ignored them and kept snuggling my foster mom and it didn’t bother me at all!  And the dog is probably going to be one of my best friends soon.  I’m still trying to convince my sister to meet everyone, but she’s still adjusting to her new home.

Carla and Zsa Zsa are 7 year old sisters who are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Carla and Zsa Zsa's combined adoption fee is $220.  If you are interested in meeting Carla and Zsa Zsa, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
