Meet Karli

My name is Karli and I’m a one year old little girl.  And when I say little, I mean little!  I weigh only about five pounds and get confused for being a kitten.  My life has been kinda hard so far, but I’m looking ahead towards better things.  My previous owner didn’t spay me, so I got pregnant and then had a really bad infection.  They took me to the vet and couldn’t afford my care so the vet advocated for me to be surrendered to ARF.  I got fantastic care and healed very nicely!  I am 100% healed now, spayed and fully vetted, and ready to find my forever home!

I am a very happy and sweet little girl and love absolutely everyone!  In fact, I would do best in a home with another cat, preferably my best friend Sandy who is also up for adoption.  We love each other, groom each other, snuggle each other, and sleep together.  I also get along with Sandy’s brother Dusty so well.  As a former mother, I like to groom and lick other cats, and I rub up against them and am very affectionate.  I’ve met some dogs at my foster home and I’m perfectly fine with them!  There is also a toddler who likes to jump and run around and play with me.  Sometimes I get a little scared, but I typically come when she calls me.  We play a lot.

I LOVE can food.  Absolutely love it.  I go crazy when I see and hear a can being opened.  Sandy and I can take down a can in about five minutes flat.  Our other favorite things?  We also love to snuggle on the cat tree, look out the window at the birds, and of course play!  We still have a lot of young energy and jump around and use practically anything as a toy!  I especially love crinkly balls, wand toys and laser pointers!  We are not destructive or get into too much at our foster home, with the exception of going into closets (they are super exciting) and knocking a couple things over.

My foster mom says I have a wonderful personality and am very affectionate, easygoing, and adaptable.  I 100% agree!  I like to wait for my foster parents at the door and rub up against them when they enter the room.  I just want tons of attention and will be a wonderful companion for a lucky person.

Karli is a 1 year old female who is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Karli's adoption fee is $110.  If you are interested in meeting Karli, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
