Hello everyone my name is Grace. I am a female Beagle mix (may be full Beagle, but cannot confirm) who is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 36.8 pounds (as of 1-2-2020). Everyone, even the notes from my vet visit, says that I am such a sweet girl. I was found with my four 5-week old puppies in the middle of a field. Even though we were homeless, I managed to make sure my puppies were fed, safe, and healthy. I came to A.R.F. with a my left hind leg broken. Due to the length of time it went untreated and the severity of the break, my leg needed to be amputated. I am clearly a very adaptive dog with a strong will to persevere!!! Despite everything I have been through I still love people and have a gentle demeanor. Although I am a little skittish at first, I am not aggressive in any way and I enjoy the company of people. I do not really enjoy car rides (but I will go without giving you problems). I could probably do without any dog friends, but do warm up to them after spending some time together. I have not met any cats or young children. However, my foster thinks I’d do well with both. I have been given a clean bill of health from the vet. If you are interested in adopting a sweet, loving dog who will be your very best friend, fill out an application. If you’re approved you can meet me at one of A.R.F.’s events.
Grace is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housetrained and spayed. Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
Grace's adoption fee is $300. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Grace fill out an Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
