Meet Burgundy

Burgundy is a handsome three-year-old brown tabby Domestic Shorthair with a gentle spirit and an affectionate heart. This sweet boy has a wonderful balance of companionship and independence, making him an ideal addition to many types of homes.

One of Burgundy’s favorite ways to show his trust is by rolling over and inviting belly rubs—a privilege he happily shares with those he loves. He enjoys spending time close to his people, often choosing a spot right beside you where he can quietly keep you company. While he does have a voice and will occasionally chat with you, Burgundy is pleasantly moderate in his conversations and never demanding.

His calm, loving nature makes him a cat who would likely do very well with children. He is patient, friendly, and enjoys being part of the household without constantly seeking attention. At this time, we have not yet had the opportunity to assess how Burgundy interacts with other cats or dogs.

If you're looking for a devoted companion who offers affection, companionship, and plenty of charm, Burgundy may be the perfect match. He is a truly sweet cat who is ready to bring warmth, comfort, and love to his forever home.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
