Meet Sabrina

I am a beautiful, long-haired calico and my name is SABRINA.  Family members brought me to a vet to have me euthanized when my person died. The vet couldn’t do that so I was rescued.

I am in a foster home because a store cage is too scary (but I’d love to meet you!).

My Favorite Thing is being brushed. I LOVE Temptations Treats! I am an easy sweetheart. Purr-fectly content to lie around on my favorite pillow, find a window to watch birds and squirrels, nap in sunshine. I have great litter box manners.

I'm very well-behaved. Timid actually. Takes me awhile to trust, but then I will happily come to you for petting. I am not a lap cat, and picking me up makes me anxious – but I do enjoy being with you! A bit independent, I won’t whine or walk between your legs seeking attention. Like a lot of females, I prefer things on MY terms.  It makes me feel safe.  Let ME come to YOU. And sniff your hand first – every time. Late at night I like to play .. with a simple string toy .. laying down.

I’m a sweet senior looking for a kind person with a calm, quiet home (and a brush!). I’m okay with an older cat who will simply co-exist with me. Do you have a relaxing ‘retirement’ home for me?

Sabrina is enjoying a foster home and you can meet her there!

Sabrina is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Sabrina's adoption fee is $100.00; If you are interested in meeting Sabrina, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
