Meet Chilli (bonded with Bluey)

Chilli (brown/white) and Bluey (gray/white with blue eyes) recently won Ultimate Grand Supreme at the Little Miss Adoptable DuPage County pageant due to their good looks and polite demeanor – can you believe it? Okay – we’re kidding, that isn’t a real competition, but we bet if it was, they would be winners!

Chilli and Bluey found their way to rescue after being left behind in their home by their former owners. While we don’t know much about their past, we do know that they haven’t let it get them down and they still have the sweetest personalities – they are gentle, love attention, and are the perfect mix of snuggly and playful. Chilli is a bit more outgoing and adventurous, while Bluey needs some reassurance to know that she’s safe (but she isn’t one to hide away all day. She loves getting love!) They are currently being fostered with two large dogs but do find them a bit frightening at first; they would be okay in a home with a friendly pup who is respectful of their space and not looking to play with them. Chilli and Bingo are also used to young children – again, they can get a bit overwhelmed by them – so may be best with children over the age of 4.

The most important things they want their potential family to know is: 1) They love looking out windows and getting fresh air! 2) They love each other; it’s fun to cuddle and play together but will also go on their own adventures around the house. 3) While they aren’t kittens, they are still young and would love toys to play with and things to climb. At the end of the day, though, they just want a loving family to sleep with and give them the beautiful life they deserve.

Chilli and Bluey are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

spayed

, and litter box trained.

Chilli and Bluey's combined adoption fee is $270.  If you are interested in meeting Chilli and Bluey , please fill out our Online Application today!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
