Meet Trevor

I am little but sturdy.  Cute as a button, my foster mom says.  Hi, I’m TREVOR.  Not even a year old, I have tons of energy .. too much for lap-sitting.  That’s for OLD cats!  I’m always looking for something to do.  Maybe you can give me some direction in that department!  Rotate my toys so you can give me ‘new’ ones every day, plan for consistent playtime each day so I have something to look forward to .. things like that will help. Sometimes I get impatient when we play and I don’t wait for you to let go of the toy.  My foster mom says I’m a bit immature.  Well of course I am – I’m technically still a kitten!  VERY friendly.  LOVE to eat.  Good with another easygoing, fun kitty around my age -- and would love to have a playmate, especially if you're at work all day.  I will do best with kids 10+ (or older).  A busy home with a bunch of people around would be FUN!  Most cats can’t handle that – but I would be happy with a lot going on and plenty of people to play with me.  Take me home?  **

Trevor can be seen at Pet Supplies Plus (720 E. Ogden Rd., Naperville).

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
