Meet Denver (adopted with Austin)

Loooook at these beautiful boys!  Denver and his brother Austin are 2 of our state capitol kittens.   They are both orange tabbys with longer fur and they are currently about 5 months old.

Do you need perhaps a little extra judgement in your life?  Maybe you moved away from your parents or grandparents and you're missing that gentle guidance asking you if you're really wearing that outfit when you go out, or did you really want to wear those shoes with that shirt...  Well stop the search right now.  Austin is your cat!  With his perpetual look of "no, I will not take you to the airport",  Austin is happy to provide all the gentle correction you might need in your life.  Should I wear this top Austin?  Should we have chicken for dinner (again)?  What should we do on the weekend?  Austin will provide all the judgemental looks - no extra charge!  But don't let the face fool you - he's a sweet boy with a huge heart.  He takes his time with learning new people, but he is a love of a boy.

Denver looks very similar to Austin, but he hasn't mastered the "why are you wearing that" look that is Austin's trademark.  Denver is the other parent who when you're going out asks if you need any money and gives you $20 even if you say you have money.  Denver is a super sweet boy who likes cuddles and snuggles.   Denver also never stop purring.  His huge eyes are just begging for a forever home.

Check out facebook.com/kittenville.il where their foster mom has documented their time in foster care.

Both boys are very playful and enjoy the company of their siblings.  We would love to send these boys to a home together.

Denver and Austin are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Denver and Austin's combined adoption fee is $220.  If you are interested in meeting Denver & Austin , please fill out our Online Application today!   Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
