Meet Gooseberry

TWINNING!!

Meet Clementine, a very unique orange female, and her brother Gooseberry! This amazing pair are the very best of friends. They eat together, play together, sleep together, groom each other and look almost exactly alike (don’t worry…a simple collar will help you tell them apart!). Let’s face it, one would be lost without the other. Not only do they love each other, they love people! They give amazing hugs and love to be carried around so that they can snuggle right into your neck. They both sleep right alongside of their foster family members. These outgoing and super affectionate kittens can’t wait for your company. They are definitely lap cats, but they also have wild side.

They spend their days chasing each other around their foster room and running through their cat tunnels. Their favorite toys are wand toys, spring toys, and anything else that even closely resembles a toy, really! After a good romp, they enjoy climbing high in their cat tree and curling up into the cutest fur pile ever. If a warm lap is available, I guarantee they will be in it! They love getting scratches…..chin, cheeks, head, belly….you name it, and they want it scratched. They love to be held so that they can get lots of kisses on their cute kitten cheeks. I dare you to try to find kittens that purr louder than these babies.

Clementine and Gooseberry would do great in a home with kids of any age. They are very easy going and love everyone. Not to worry if their new family works outside of the home and they have to be alone during the day, adopting them as a pair will ensure that they always have their best buddy to keep them company. Besides that, there are numerous other social and emotional benefits of having two kittens, for both you and them!

Clementine and Gooseberry are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.

Clementine and Gooseberry's combined adoption fee is $300.  If you are interested in meeting Clementine and Gooseberry, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
