Meet Chevy (adopted with Mazda)

Hello Hoomans!  Our names are Chevy & Mazda.  We are brother and sister and the best of friends.  We joined ARF when we were only 1 day old and without our mama.  We were raised by a crazy foster lady that has overwhelmed us with love from birth.  Because of this, we are very used to being handled and love to cuddle up with anyone that will hold us.  We are also very gentle and really only play roughly with each other.  That being said, we would really like to stay together.  We have been through a lot and have a really special bond (Mazda is grooming Chevy as this is written)!

Chevy starts to purr the moment he thinks that he is going to be picked up.  He just loves love and wants to be close whenever possible.  Miss Mazzy May (as we call her) is the epitome of grace and coordination.  She is always jumping up on my lap while I'm working and likes to curl up into a tiny ball.  Both babies have been exposed many times to their foster dog sibling, who is about 25 lbs.  They approach her readily and rub up on her legs.  They have also met many adult cats and are very respectful of them.  They were paired with one of ARF's oldest cats for a few weeks and would cuddle up with her but respect her space (the black cat in the photo).  They really are wonderful cats and have found a special place in the hearts of everyone they have met.

Chevy and Mazda are 9 week old male/female siblings who are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.

Chevy and Mazda's combined adoption fee is $300.  If you are interested in meeting Chevy and Mazda, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
